Fall Class Descriptions

Tiny Dancers

  •  The Tiny Dancer's program at TDS is a once a week 30 minute long combination class for 2-4yr olds. We focus on teaching proper terminology and technique, along with coordination and performance skills! (Ballet, Jazz, & Acro)

Combination Classes

  • Combination Classes are offered to our performance students in the beginner to advanced levels. This gives dancers the opportunity to try different dance styles all in one, once a week class. 

Ballet

  • At TDS a classical form of ballet is taught. We focus on proper body alignment and fluid movement. Barre, center floor, and across the floor progressions are all used to develop proper ballet technique.

Pointe/Pre-Pointe

  • Ages 12yrs+ Students will learn and practice pointe barre work with emphasis on individual's correct foot and body alignment as well as study of the proper techniques for the execution of more difficult steps. Must have teachers approval.

Competition Team

  • Our competitive dance team helps promote a physically fit lifestyle, respect for others, a healthy sense of rivalry, a sense of self-worth, and of course, fosters lifelong friendships. Team try-outs take place in June. 

Acro

  •  AcroDance is rapidly increasing in popularity worldwide.  The acrobatic fundamentals of strength, balance, and flexibility increase technique levels for all other dance disciplines.  Students will learn proper technique and terminology.
